Using Forebearance Letter to Remove late payments

Good afternoon community!

I just need some guidance here..

In April of 2018, I was approved for Forbearance with my Navient private student loans.

I have late pays on my credit report for July, August, and September of 2018.

From what I've seen online, I can just directly send a copy of my forebearance directly to the credit bureaus to get the late payments deleted.

I'm unfamiliar with the actual rule, can someone explain how I should write the letter to the bureau's?  Or is there a template that you guys can refer me to?

Thanks

Re: Using Forebearance Letter to Remove late payments

How long was your forbearance processed for?  What were the dates your forbearance covered?  Even though you applied for forbearance in April based on the negative reporting, it looks as though it covered only until April being that negative info for federal loans don't report until 90 days past due if that's what they are.  If that is not the case and the forbearance was processed for a longer time frame then your servicer should remove for you. Hope this helps

Sorry. You did say they were private. Sorry about that but still what dates was the forbearance processed for?  This will help
