Long story short, my hubby's wages are being garnished from an old student loan from several years back. His CR shows the OC was Sallie Mae, but it's marked as a positive tradeline as closed and paid. No other tradelines are on his CR regarding any outstanding loan. The mailing address they had on file (government) was an address he never lived at. How can we dispute this? I searched for a DV letter, but the DV letter refererences the negative credit information, in which he does not have. what do we do???? (we are in TX)
