2 year mark affect & the 3 CB

I've read that after 2 years the 30 day late and collections start to fade off month by month granted nothing else negative comes into play. However I am finding that experian seems to lead the group. My score has risen 3X faster than equifax and they have the exact same information. My Transunion is up and down for some reason but has been rising. My question is could it be in the structure of experian to look mainly at the last 2 years of a report? If you get any experian 3rd party report it always looks at the last 2 years. Could I be on to something?

Fico looks at the info in each of your CRs to generate a score, EX is the biggest of the CRAs and usually has more info on them than the other 2, EX tends to hold closed accounts the entire 10 year period of time while on the other 2 they can disappear at any time, I personally am affected by this and its why my EX is always my strongest report. 30 day lates effect on Fico is pretty much gone after 2 years, 60 days as well but I have seen cases of 60 day late being excluded at the 7 year mark causing a few points to be gained back so it prob affects in a small way the entire time, anything over 60 def will affect Fico the entire time its on file. Fico looks at the entire report and would not just take the last 2 years on EX.

Re: 2 year mark affect & the 3 CB

It's individual to each consumer though EX has always been my highest, EQ my lowest.  The algorithms are all slightly tweaked so they do score the same report slightly differently, and my own reports are pretty identical now other than inquiry dates though they're close in aggregate number.

EX does apparently record a payment ahead of the other bureaus, which might make a difference as far as payment history goes when we're talking early and mid-term credit files.

The amount of time seen on a third party presentation doesn't mean anything, that's just a user interface design choice, not something intrinsic to FICO.  The bureau data is reference, and if you pull an Experian report you'll see they have no such limitations.

Anyway I wouldn't read much into it; in general what's a good thing for EX is a good thing for EQ and is a good thing for TU: focus on the data rather than the individual scores... even if I'm pretty certain Equifax simply hates me score wise, but they dropped my albatross of a tax lien early so I forgive them for that Smiley Happy.  That saved me non-trivial cash by shortcutting an auto loan refi.

I just don't understand why my experian seems to rise alot over the past 3 months and equifax moves sluggish. Same report as far as items listed. I swear equifax hates me too and Transunion is up and down I guess playing hard to get. My experian never seems to drop on me just up uup and away

I need 33 points Smiley Sad REAL FAST! I have 2 CC's both UTL was 98% I paid them both but only reported so far and it now has a 1% UTL which gave me +27 points for EXP and +23 points for EQ. my other CC statement date is the 20th and it will be 0% I'm really hoping for 3 points or better..

Experian wont delete (After 7 years) a card whos balance was sold to Portolio sighting that its "not a negative item". However right in the notes of the account it lists that it was sold to "Portfolia Asset REcovery.." on record until 2019 ??? The Portfolio item was removed last mo as per 7 years .... sigh..

At the 7.5 year mark the max that derog info can remain on file I would demand removal of the PRA comments. I dont see how it could be a positive unless its not showing as a CO.

I'd be awfully surprised if you didn't get more than 3 points once the second card reports.
