2010 Tax Lien

Got the tax lien deleted off my CR and score didn't budge!! What's up with that?? I was expecting at least 50 point swing!!

Congrats on the deletion. Unfortunately, it looks like your CS took the hit the first few years and like everything else...time made it better. I would never have thought 50 points but as I mentioned before having a cr clear of a public record will help you in the long run.

It depends on what is on the rest of your credit report. When my last baddie fell off of my reports I saw a 80 point increase. It sounds like the lien wasn't your last negative item reporting.

I do have a paid charge off and a few paid collections. I think the CO reporting as a derogatory is hurting even tho its paid. Wish I could get the CO changed from paid/ co to just Paid. Don't know how to make that happen. I do still have one collection that will be off this month so not sure how much that will help.

HYPA how long did it take.  I sent my stuff off to the IRS for the withdrawl 3 weeks ago.  I still haven't heard anything back yet.  Im getting antsy!

Which CR are you looking at and where did the score come from?

I faxed mine and called two days later. Rep got his boss and she found my fax and deleted right then. She was nice. Started to ask for more deletions. LOL
