Re: 21 points lost in 1 month - and nothing happened

OP, please don't make the assumption that because you have FICO alerts set that you'll be alerted to every change that may change your score. Many factors can change your score that you'll never be alerted to. Even the factors that display with score changes may have nothing to do with score changes.

AoOA = 18.6 years, AAoA = 60 mos., AoYA = 18 mos.
One mortgage, one HELOC, no car loans.
Derogs from 2009 and 2010 now gone after 7 years. I started paying attention to credit scores in about 2014. It's taken a few years but credit scores are now good after starting in the high 500s back in 2011

1. It's inaccurate to say you lost 21 points. You lost 16 points in TU on July 31st.

2. It's impossible to know what happened without seeing your pre-July 31st TU report and your post-July 31st TU report. Since there's a mortgage on the line, it's worth springing for your TU full report.

3.  If the TU 7/31 report has all your cards at zero, while it was previously showing 1 card reporting a balance, that would have accounted for the drop, as FICO 8 abhors all zeroes.

It is accurate to say OP lost 21 points over the course of a monthly period. July 31 was just the latest change noted.

   July 2 is a -5

   July 31 is a -16

Total change during July is -21.

OP has a boatload of baddies being removed. That creates a lot of score changes, and score re-calculations later to try to make sense of it all.
