28 point decrease?!

I got a FICO alert today that said my score decrease from 595 to 567?! It says The following changes were reported for your student loan account:- Past Due Amount Changed from N/A to $0. Why would that hurt my score? I am so confused!

Re: 28 point decrease?!

I'd pull your EQ FICO report and look line by line. SW alerts don't list every cause of the score change. I once got one that said my score jumped 20 points because I added an inquiry. Well, the inquiry didn't cause the increase but it was decreased utilization that did it that SW didn't pick up on.

Look line by line. On your SL alone, I suppose you could be impacted if the SL was reporting negatively (change in DOLA may make it appear newer) and/or if closed it was your last open installment causing a drop in the mix.
