Paying off old debt really does help!
I have a charged off Cap1 account that had a balance of $1,014 last month. I made a payment of $500 on 9/7 and I gained 15 points (EQ FAKO) and 14 points (TU FAKO). EX hasn't budged but I think it's due to 2 new CC inquiries I had this month.
I plan on paying the balance off in October - would like to see another 29 point jump and have this derog report as PIF per Cap 1 Cust Serv!
