My Equifax score just jumped from 725 to 764 but there are no alerts to explain it. I also had no baddies fall off. My utilization on one card did drop from 100% to under 80% (but this did not show up as alert - I just know I paid it down last month.). I cannot figure out what happened! Any ideas? Whatever the cause, I'm happy about it! Especially since we are mortgage shopping.
Possible AAoA change to a higher scoring bucket, there are things that go on in the background that are not readily seen by looking at a report.
Grats on the bump!
Congratulations on the score bump, check back in a week and it will likely come back down a bit. It shouldn't drop the entire 39 points, but don't be surprised if 10 drop in a few days. FICO takes some time to fully get comfortable with new information, to work through all the calculations.
Congrats on the nice bump ! There are many factors and it could be that inq have reached 12 months, new account just passed 2 years, as already mentioned AAoA changed, util lower, etc... there are many variables but enjoy it
I can't figure out scoring - I paid 1500 off credit cards and my score dropped 4 points.
CONGRATS!!!
