Hey congrats!!!!
Try to pay off the medical bill too. Once you pay it off, it will be removed from your credit report.

I could be wrong but I belive the removal of paid medical collections is only if that balance was supposed to have been paid by insurance. If it is a balance you were responsible for then it would stay on the report unless the CA agrees to a PFD or goodwill removal.

You are correct. The bill was our responsibility, I did pay it tried for a PFD but they didn't agree to that, however I had disputed it on EQ and EXP, EXP deleted but equifax did not.. I got a letter from them which provided the original bill and stated if we didn't pay within 30 days they would report to the CRAs, soooo not sure but it may come off it may not. We shall see but it is paid none the less.
It's typically not a best practice to dispute something that isn't inaccurate. That may just make it more difficult to actually get it deleted the proper way, which would be basically a GW adjustment (PFD).
While I agree for the most part, I disputed because it was not listed completely correct. In the past I have seen much success with deletions in regards to medical collections, so I gave it a shot.
Well the collection was deleted from EQ😃still on TU at the moment.
Awesome!!! Congrats!!!
