I was reading back through some old threads regarding CFAs and their potential impact on FICO scores and wanted to start a new thread to possibly stimulate some new discussion.
While difficult to quantify in many cases, I'd like to hear opinions on how much of an impact people feel a CFA has on credit scores. From my reading, it seems that most tend to think the adverse impact is somewhere around 15-20 points on average. It would be great of course to hear some numbers from those that added a CFA, or had a CFA come off their report.
Another question that I'm not sure has ever been asked is whether or not anyone has ever reported an 850 score with the presence of a CFA (open or closed would be good to know here) on their CR.
