AAOA question

All of my cards except two I got in 2009-2010 so if I all for new cards doesn't that lower my aaoa? Doesn't that look bad to lenders?

Re: AAOA question

Yes it lowers your overall AAoA, but it won't change the length of your credit file or your oldest TL. As far as it looking bad, it depends on the lender.

With a number of cards at 5-6 years aged, you have a long enough history that AAofA is not going to be a factor at all.

What will potentially become a factor is, if you get a lot of new cards in a short time, that turns on the "too much new credit" warning in the algorithms. Getting 2-3 new cards that you intend to keep for a while should not be an issue.
