According to Score Watch, the two accounts reporting a balance increase are actually the same account (AMEX). It appears that this account is reporting twice since I only have one AMEX account. Should I do anything about this?
If you pulled your EQ report from somewhere I bet you won't see two Amex TLs. For some reason, and EQ is the source on this, SW will sometimes report double.
I've seen this with my Discover card, I don't think it's a cc issue but a FICO and/or Equifax issue. They should really fix this, especially if these "double accounts" impact FICO scoring.

If this is a double mis-reporting issue, and really not two Amex TLs, then there's no impact on scoring. The SW alerts are double but if EQ is pulled from somewhere, it'll only show one and of course be scored for one. I have an EQ service (EQ's ID Patrol) and this happens through them from time to time. I'll get doulbe alerts on balance changes, inquiries and new TLs. Because of that I suspect it is an issue on EQ's end. I just ignore 1/2 of what they tell me.
Apparently the problem is with Score Watch. I found an answer to this issue on another board: myFICO® Product Feedback > ScoreWatch shows 2 Accounts when there's only one. http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/myFICO-Product-Feedback/ScoreWatch-shows-2-Accounts-when-there-s-onl...
