AZEO card 24% --> 59% = -7 points

Pretty simple data point here.  I allowed my AZEO card to go from 24% reported utilization to 59% utilization (2 threshold crossings) and lost 7 points on my EX FICO 08 score.  In 5 days I can repull my 3B reports/scores from CCT, so I'll circle back and report the TU and EQ drops in this thread as well.  Aggregate utilization went from 2% to 4% for this test, so it should be a non-factor to the score change.  This is on a clean thick/aged file.

CCT = Credit Check Total.

It's a great service where for $1 you can pull your 3 FICO 08 scores (and reports) and then 7-10 days later (your choice) you can pull them again for no additional charge.  You just need to remember to cancel your $1 trial membership in the first 7 days.

I actually didn't think a 7 point drop here was very significant considering 2 thresholds were crossed, even though aggregate utilization remained ideal.  I'm curious to see how TU and EQ have reacted to the same event.

I'll be reporting 8.9% or less utilization next cycle on this same AZEO card, so no doubt those points will quickly return.

Nice data point!  Is this a bankcard?

I just tested my AZEO card from 3% to 22% and my EX dropped 4 points (712->708).

Next month I'm going to compare the $2 trick with 8% utilization on the same month and see what happens.

Yeah, it's my Citi (DC) card.

Interesting that your score dropped from crossing 8.9% on a single card. I was always under the impression that was only an aggregate threshold, and that the first one for an individual card was 28.9% and that even many people report that one resulting in no score change.
