I would like to know, too.
I find it interesting that Alliant pulls EQ exclusively for their savings/checking/Visa products; yet offers a version of EX scores for their customers.
Who do they pull for mortgages?

All three reports are pulled for a mortgage. Alliant doesn't do their own mortgage processing. It is outsourced and I have read of terrible experiences.

Thanks Hobojon - that's extremely useful to hear. So, I'm assuming HELOC is in the same category as the Visa & car loans as far as pulling EQ only and processing in-house??? I'm assuming that because they were all offered when DH signed up with Alliant.

No, Both myself and a friend of mine accepted the Heloc offer along with the CC offer in the initial preapproval process. We both received the CC but never heard anything about the Heloc we were supposedly preapproved for. After waiting forever and inquiring via email about the Heloc and not getting a response I called them and they told me that like their mortgages, they are outsourced and they would be prcoessed independently of Alliant. Who that company is I never found out. I went through somebody else.
