Hello,
I just checked my FICO Score which is 686 EQ with a little over $8,000 in student loans. This is the only revolving credit I have (no credit card). I have not made any payments since I have not graduated yet.
Also, Credit Karma (which is not the best for Credit Scoring) reports 666 TU and 686 Vantage. I am planning to get cable T.V Service and would like to know if I would run into any problems with these scores.
Welcome to the forums.
SL are not revolving but installments.
You definitely do need some sort of revolving to get your score to move. Once those loans are paid off your score will become stagnant.
The EQ score is an ok score, the other 2 are FAKOs and are for educational purposes.

I agree with Guiness56, you need to start looking into revolving credit. Luckily, you are building and not re-building so it will be easier. You will most likely have to start out with a secured card.
Are you still a student and do you have any income? If you do, the Discover student card would be a great place to start.
You shouldn't have any problem getting the service, although,if your credit is bad they might ask you for deposit.
