Arrow killed and EQ up 18 points today

FINALLY got rid of Arrow Financial Services. They had been collecting for First Premier Bank and the DOLA or DOFD was 7 years old last Fall.

Pulled all three yesterday (2/29) and EQ was up 9 points with Arrow listed in the Accounts section. I pulled TC today and Arrow was gone. Curiosity got the best of me so I pulled EQ FICO again a day later (today) and EQ was up 18 points!

Unfortunately, First Premier is still listed as a "paid" CO. Arrow had been reporting as a "120+ day late" acct. I had also disputed the 7 yrs with TU for both and First Premier also for EQ. EX removed both in November.

Rant time: They are scums, IMO. The org. debt was for $200 or $300, can't remember which. I still have all the orginal documents. Arrow came along and placed 2 charges, one for $300 in "other charges" and again for $600 in "other charges". That's what it said on the CA letters. The debt ran to $1200 in total. Bozos. In good faith, very early (7 yrs ago) I did pay the OC around $50 a month for 5 or 6 months and the org. debt should have been settled then (long before I knew anything about credit and FICO scoring).

Congrats llecs. So, was it 27 points overall 9 yesterday and 18 today or just 18 total?

Up 27 since 2/15. I think it could have been more but Verizon Wireless updated with a 120 day late last week.

That's interesting! On my CR I have Premier w/open date of 8/99 as "under WEP" and a last rptg date of 8/2003. Then I have Arrow with open date 1/01 and an ND for the last 24 mos.

What should I do to remove them both?

Sounds like you are past the 7 yr CRTP. Make sure your SOL isn't beyond the 7 yrs.

I'm partially to pulling EX and TU directly from those two CRAs. They have a line item on both of those reports when a baddie acct is going to drop off. It should be dated for sometime around now.

If past 7 years, then dispute directly with all 3. On mine, Arrow, the CA, had a drop off date dated prior to the drop off of First Premier. Go figure.
