@Anonymous wrote:Ok all -- just got the last COL removed from all three reports!!! Scores went from: TU 580 EX 582 EQ 581 to .... TU 610 EX 615 EQ 600 !!! Not amazing but well on the way! The only other baddie are 3 30 day lates on student loans from 11 months ago... definitely took a hit there so just have to let those age more. AAofA is 7 years, oldest is 12.5 years old.... So, I just paid down my UTIL on all cards, from:
Barclaycard VISA: $3,000 CL .. Was $2,715 --> $900.00 balance
Western FCU VISA: $3,000 CL .. Was $0 --> Still $0, but got a CLI of $2000 that has not yet reported !!
CreditOne: $600 CL .. Was $100 --> $0.00 balance
Capital One QS1: $1,000 CL .. Was $464 --> $0.00 balance
FingerHut: $250 CL --> $0.00 balance
CareCredit: $3,000 CL .. Was $1298 --> $300 balance
I am expecting a significant score bump here, lowering UTIL from 55%, to 44% and now as of today, 9% or so. Any estimates would be appreicated as I never know what to expect. When I went from 55% to 44%, I saw a 15 average bump, so this should be good!!! Weigh in, credit FICO Addicts :-)
Joey,
An update on results would be appreciated.
hey all ... so my current scores are: EXP 651 TU 624 EQ 602 (ugh lol) ... so climibing !!!!! I was very lost when I first posted this -- I still actually have 2 baddies to go .. one CO from Cap One in 2012, and one Chargeoff from First Premier in 2009 ... aging off as early exclsuion in 1.5 months!!! AND CAP ONE Executive Manager is working to possibly get the CO deleted because the collection agency they sold to promised me the tradeline would delete if I paid them in full, whcih I did !!
SO, if either of these or both are removed, I can possibly see a boost to 700 or more, as these TRULY are my last baddies!!!!! UTIL is down to 30% and counting. Got a few CLIs yet to report too! You have all been so kind with your words of encouragment here ... love it. Im still a bit down over my credit past, but we live, we learn eh?
I am planning on waiting until these are all aged off in December, or at least most, and INQs age a bit (8-10 each bureau this year), and apping for some really decent cards! Income is over 90k, so I'm good there... I SOOOO want to see that $20,000 approval on VENTURE
Any extra advice would be warranted here ,so feel free to advise me on the rest as far as UTIL, who to app for, etc
