Bad account age?? How bad is 12 years?

How is this a negative, this is on my Fico SW report.  It is listed as number 4 of my bad list, how long of a credit history does it take to be on the good side of the scale?  A few weeks ago this was a good number than this month it was on the bad side of the scale.  Or is this an attempt at re-bucketing?

You were probably rebucketed. It is not hurting you severely and if you lost any points for being rebucketed you should get them back relatively quickly.

With 12 years of credit history you are losing very few points for age, even if it is listed as a negative as we have plenty of this example on this board of 800+ scores with 12 years of history and 6+ or so years of average age.

In the long run this message is a good thing.
