Got an alert from here that I had a change in my fico score...typically they go up/down by a couple of points every couple of weeks as I mess with my reporting balances.
Today I saw a solid increase of 75 points to 750 by way of an $158 balance increase.
That's what I like to see!
EX is reporting 758....so I just need to get TU on board.
As far as I know, my last baddie (Vehicle Repo) is still reporting for another 4-6 months.
That's it. Predicting the FICO score impact of a credit report change is completely futile.

I bet your baddie has fallen off. Of course, there is no way to tell unless you pull your report ...

Keep both your credit and your body in top shape!

Yeah, that would be the only reason for that big of a jump.
Congratulations!
...the next time you get a score change alert that you don't understand, you don't have to pay to see your CR ...use the dispute button on the myFico alert ...the CRA will show you your current file and ask which item you are disputing ...once satisfied that no dispute is warranted you can simply cancel the process ...hth

That is amazing, Repo-ed. Great work. Congratulations. I just paid my last repo deficiency balance after they agreed to a PFD. I got lucky. Still didn't fall off, but I can't wait.
Congrats, Once again!
I have totally given up trying to figure out balance increase / decrease versus fico score . I recently paid down on 2 cards, both have a balance of $20 and my EQ score dropped 35pts. I thought it was supposed to work in reverse.........?
