Balance on One CC from $22>0, EX 731>719

Dropped -12.

Sometimes the scoring models make no sense.

The only way paying off a revolving balance would cause a score decrease in FICO 8 is if you have no other reported revolving balances.

If that's the case in your situation, then that's why it happened. Had you reported a $10 balance before paying it off, you would not have lost any points at all.

But does it "make sense"? There I have to agree with you... absolutely not.

I definitely have other reporting balances.
Even more bizarreness.

If you have other reported balances, your score drop of 12 points didn't come from paying the $22 balance down to $0; it came from something else.
