CC Util/Rapid Rescore question

I am planning to refinance and have paid down my cc util from 45% to 8%. Would this be enough to get my to higher scores over 700. Also since I want to do this asap could I do a rapid rescore. I have heard about rapid rescoring but am not sure how it works.  Any info would be appreciated.

Probably, at least on TU and EX. Doubt it on EQ. Might be above or below, though, depending on what else you have holding your scores down.

Rapid rescore has a fee for each account, for each credit bureau, and it's not cheap. Your lender can tell you how to do it. In the meantime, for any account other than American Express, HSBC/ Orchard, and US Bank, do you have any statement dates coming up? The new balances should get reported then and be posted within a week or so. (Usual timeframe.) HSBC/Orchard and US Bank supposedly update on the last business day of each month, although HSBC/Orchard is notorious for sometimes just not bothering. And AmEx updates four weeks later, grrr.
