@Anonymous AU pentalty? Oh geez so over this Fico game....That means I will always need to have a AU balance? What happens when I try to do AZEO?

@AzCreditGuy on versions 8/9, if you have authorized user accounts, you need one with the balance.
For the mortgage Scores, you do true AZEO, only one balance on a primary; it's only 8/9 that requires an AU to have a balance also.
you have to remember you optimize different versions differently, so it depends on which version you're trying to optimize, the action you take.

@Anonymous Just got an alert TU score went down 7 pts because of no AU balance....I wish I could get mortgage score updates also.... I like myfico better as it will update the 3 scores if they go up or down, but the price per month?

@AzCreditGuy yes I agree with you and I wish there was a way to get daily mortgage score updates without having to pay a fortune but, it is what it is for now, unfortunately.

@AzCreditGuy wrote:@Anonymous I just you had mentioned about Auto scores and how the new account code had dropped, it did on TU and EX but not on EQ? I was looking at the various scores and how some carry the CFA and some dont?? I find it interesting, why this is?
@AzCreditGuy Wow, EQ has new account code at 20 months AoYA?!! Wow! Strange, TU should also have it then.
ok. They only give you the 4 codes that are impacting your score the most. So you may not see CFA on the other bureau if it doesn't make the top 4.
The bureaus had license (and maybe still do though I suspect it is reduced to get a more similar score across the board especially F9) to tweak their individual models.
It did not make much sense to me but there are things like this or the max score differences between algorithms that just have to make you go hmm sometimes on the older versions.
I would be surprised to find this specific or even similar magnitude disparities on newer models.

Well that is the auto version, but I have read fico documentation saying segmentation points are consistent across bureaus per version.
Dates for that documentation please.
~17 years have passed, and unless it was explicitly for the classic scores used by Fannie and Freddie, well color me skeptical.

@Revelate I will have to go check my sources and look for it; it may not be old, it may just be for the new ones, as you suggest. Let me see if I can find it and report back.

Alerts and the provided scores at the time of the alert are not necessarily related. The reason for an alert, and the score provided at that time may or may not be related.
