I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I wasn't sure where it fit.
I had been planning on applying for my new NFCU card today, but now I'm unsure. All my cards are at zero and have been updated EXCEPT for Navy on the NFCU app AND myFICO. However, CK shows the updated balance and scores as of yesterday. Does this mean my official scores are updated (not just my vantage scores) and are just not reflecting on apps?
I missed my statement cut-off last month by one day, so NFCU reported 52% utilization. I now sit at 13%, which gave my vantage scores a 31 point jump, but I don't know what my updated FICO's are with the new utilization. Currently, TU9 is 763, EQ9 is 764.
My concern is: if NFCU and myFICO have not updated, does that mean a hard pull from Navy won't reflect the changes, or are the apps just a little behind and the hard pull will pull the correct data? The NFCU app tends to lag for me quite a bit, do I need to wait for them for a new app? I don't want to leave money on the table and not get a good interest rate because of this.
Have you checked Experian.com?
These free scores are based on periodic soft pulls. If nfcu, or anyone, does a hard pull on you they will get the "right this instant" data and a score based on it. The only bank I know of who evaluates card apps for current members, based on a sp, is amex.

Yes, they haven't updated either 😔. But, as of now, myFICO updated my EQ to show the new balance, but not the auto CLI they gave me a few days ago (which put a wrench in my "new app, then CLI request" plan, but I'm not complaining 😉)

So, myFICO updated my EQ a few hours ago to reflect my new balance for NFCU, but not the auto CLI they gave me. My TU hasn't updated for either, though.
Since CK did a soft pull and they reflect both my new balance and the auto CLI I just got, does that mean my real report will have it and myvapps are just slow to update? CK gave me alerts about the new balance and CLI for both TU and EQ and their scores went up from those alerts.

In my experience the Experian website (at least the free service) sometimes lags a day or so behind.
pulling your Experian report from annual credit report.com would show you what they will see on a hard pull for sure.

On 7/1, I requested an EE on two paid COs (last one comes off in September!), so I pulled all three reports on 7/3 through annualcreditreport, so I won't be able to pull them again until 7/10 unfortunately

The hard pull will reflect the changes, so don't worry.
If you were applying for a CLI I would say wait, because the soft pull would be based on the old data.

Thank you! This is exactly what I needed to hear 😊

Took the plunge and got the 24-48 hour message. Fingers crossed!
Update: Approval!
