My personal experience shows that all three take their turn in slow reporting at some point.
@CommanderCody wrote:It has been my experience with Experian that they penalize for an AU that has a zero balance. I'm an AU on one of my spouse's cards and my Experian score drops 10 points every time I pay it off. Put a few dollars on there and I get the points back.
That could explain mine. My EX 8 has typically been 10-20 points lower than the other two bureaus, despite having less inquiries than the other two bureaus. But I do have an AU card, and it always reports $0.
My Experian is always lower due in part to the fact that almost all of the lenders that I've worked with use it in my state (CA).
Experian also removed positive old student loan accounts from my report which contributed a huge portion of the AAoA for me.
This was done without my requesting it. TU and EQ continue to show the credit lines.
My Experian score increased almost 70 pts in past month and went over 700. A lot happened in the past month though.
I have three inquiries on my profile. None of them are on Equifax or TU. All of my credit accounts show up on Experian but not on Equifax or TU. My scores on EQ and TU are about 12 and 10 points above Experian. Scoring is different among Credit Bureaus. Sweet mysteries of life!
There could be a difference you're not catching. I just experienced this. In my case I had a loan that wasn't updating on Experian. Balance showed 18000/19000 where the other two bureaus were 3500/19000. Now that I have that fixed all scores are within a few points of each other.
@increasingmyfico yes i pinned it down to my 12 year AU account not reporting to Experian for some reason. So while TU and EQ are over 700 Experian is sitting under by about 15 points. Not huge but defintly lagging the others .

Interesting. I haven't checked my 3 bureau FICO 8s since last year, but my EX 8 has dropped significantly, and I've been wondering if they stopped counting my AU card at some point. I'm a young file with an AU card that's about twice as old as yours, so it's a bigger drop.
@Anonymalous i would sign onto experian and check to see if it still appears - i find experian reports so different than the other 2 sometmes in a good way , other times not to my benefit lol

No, it's still there. I only have 4 cards including the AU, so I'd notice one of them vanishing. That's why I'm wondering if Experian has just stopping counting the AU for scoring purposes. But I suppose I'd have to pull my 3 bureau scores to really tell.
