You just don't met their criteria yet

However keep doing what you're doing which I might add you seem to be doing a good job of currently and they'll be blowing up your mailbox and you'll find the online offers

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Chase and Citi bank offer

Half the cards I apped for and approved, there was no offer either. What's your AAOA? Your credit is clean so I don't think you will have any difficulty of getting the card(s) you need. Just make sure your util is under 10-15% to get the best rates and CL.

Re: Chase and Citi bank offer

1) You need to be 21 to get any pre-approvals

2) I think Chase likes to see 1 year credit history (ideally on two cards, not counting store cards).  However, if you have more than 5 new TL's within the last 2 years, they will not approve you.

3) Citi is known for denying for too many INQs within the last 6 months.

4) You credit score may not be quite high enough for some pre-approvals

5) Make sure your address is exactly the same as on your credit reports.  If you have moved recently, try your previous address.

Even if you meet their guidelines, not all lenders will SP when you check the pre-approval sites (Cap1 is an exception).   They normally use their last SP pull.  If it was several months old, they could be using old info.  In time the pre-approvals will come.  You can be approved even if you do not have a pre-approval.  With a pre-approval, you can still be denied.
