Clarification on CC reporting to CRA

Do the cc report on the statement due date or the end of the billing cycle? I just paid down a Chase CC with 8000 CL from 7500 to 700.  I paid it the day after the due date.  How long will it take to post to my CR?

Most CCs report balances as of the statement date, with a couple of known exceptions (HSBC and US Bank), which seem to report on the last business day of the month. For best results, pay down to 1-9% util before the statement date, so that amount gets reported.
