Confused....TU score 645 and EQ score 701...why the difference?

I have been working to get my credit repaired. both numbers were in the mid 500s in April of 2009 and now they stand at 645 TU and 701 EQ,,,,

Why is there such a difference in scoring? Shouldn't they both be the same? I noticed this in April of 09 when I first checked that the TU was about 50 points lower at the start and that trend has stayed.

Any advice?

It is very rare to get the numbers to be exact. With that said with that big of a difference most likely your reports arent the same. Look at the reports side by side and try to find differences. It could be that one has an account that the other doesnt, maybe one has more lates, the balances on your accounts may be a little different, the list goes on and on but rarely are your reports exactly alike.
