Kind of a shock to me to see but I just noticed that after my scorecard likely changed from new, then my second oldest card hit 2 years, I got 2 bumps, then I zeroed my Chase card that's normally reporting for AZEO since I may app next month.... But with all the little score bumps I just realized my TU is 803! It won't last long, and eq is 793 and ex 782, but I still thought I would never see an 800 with no loan, only 4 revolvers 3 years oldest on file so it's a brief but exciting moment!
( Figured @Kforce might like seeing that)
Congratulations!
I'd love to see an 800.

I have only 2 revolvers and no loans on my credit reports, though my AAoA is over 5 years. All my Fico 8s have been 800+ since my lone inquiry became unscorable and my youngest account aged to one year. Utilization has always been 1-3%. I let both cards report balances each month and haven't tested if AZEO impacts my thin file. You certainly don't have to have 3+ revolvers and a loan in order to have 800+ scores.

Another 3 years and you could be at 830's + with no loans.
Maybe time to go for that Webstaurant card instead. ![]()
You can have a nearly perfect FICO score without an active / open installment loan, it's not required if the other factors on your report are all in great shape.

Absolutely correct. My daughter has only 2 credit cards and no loans open or closed. Her Fico 8 scores reached 800 after AoOA reached 5 years with AAoA and AoYA also at 5 years ( both cards issued within 2 months of each other).
Her scores now fluctuate between 785 and 815 depending on # cards with balance and utilization. She often makes multiple payments during a month but does not practice AZE1 or manage reported utilization as long as under 30%.
@Kforce Haha, yeah, the 803 is pretty and all, but I'd probably rather trade it for money. Just a few weeks maybe. ![]()
Won't be a while until I see the 800s again if at all but it was nice to see it once!

^ True.
A score of 850 on Classic Fico 8 and Classic Fico 9 is achievable without an active/open loan on file. I occasionally score Classic EX Fico 8 and EX Fico 9 850s with only a single closed loan on file. However, it is easier to get to 850 with an open loan.
Congratulations on your milestone score!!

Another data point.
My daughter, (Average 4y-11m), (Youngest 0y-11m), (Oldest 10y-0m)
4 cards / no loan = 830's
.also as your daughter.
Multiple payments during a month but does not practice Azeo or Aze1
