Hello all, I only have 1 credit card and would like to know what percentage I should carry for the balance to maximize my credit score.

Carry a balance=bad

Report a balance=good

Individual utilization 1-29%

Aggregate utilization 1-9%

For your case with only one card,1-9% reporting utilization.

Actually there’s also a 4% line on your thin scorecard but it’s only worth a couple points.

If you’d like to see best scores, you need to add cards, you’re under a penalty until you have three.
