Credit Counseling and credit score

I know a credit counseling service appears on your Credit Report, but how much does it affect your score?

No effect on your FICO score.  Some here suggest that lenders look down upon it but I haven't seen that problem when I have applied for new credit since I finished CCCS a few years ago.  LOL even some of the CCCs that I had in the CCCS are sending me pre-approvals for credit cards.  Not interested  though.  I am a CU and Bill Me Later man now.
