It is a completely accurate FAKO score.  It is not be used by any lender.  I think the proper word is it is an educational score.

My CK TU New Accounts Model FAKO score is about 50 points lower than my TU-08 FICO score. Your CK score could be higher or lower than your FICO score.

Re: Credit Karma?

For me, CK is usually 30-50 points lower than my actual FICO score. To be honest their vantage score is closer to my FICO scores.

I think it's different for everybody though.

Starting Score-(01/2017): FICO ||EX:575--EQ:549--TU:588||
Current Score--(04/2018): FICO ||EX:686--EQ:697--TU:715||

Re: Credit Karma?

Thank You for the response. I haven't ever ordered a credit score before. Where is a good   place to get them at? Should I order all 3 bureaus or just one?

Re: Credit Karma?

Even though it's buggy you should look into the new 3 Bureau Credit Monitoring they have here. You get reports yearly and it monitors your score. I think people have been having the most trouble with the $19.95 one. There is an Ultimate version for $29.95 that also monitors your identity. They're both monthly charges with a 3 month minimum obligation.

Ask around, I'm sure others have some tips.

Starting Score-(01/2017): FICO ||EX:575--EQ:549--TU:588||
Current Score--(04/2018): FICO ||EX:686--EQ:697--TU:715||

What are your goals?  For example, if you are purchasing a house, you will be most concerned about your FICO04/98 scores. Most credit card companies use FICO 08.

There are not many options for FICO 04.  The only one that comes to mind is having a checking account with DCU for a monthly EQ-04 score.   For FICO 08, you can purchase them here on myFICO.

If you are looking to save money, here is post with a few ways to obtain a free FICO score:

PS.  Have you read the sticky:

I believe it gives details on different credit monitoring services.  I am not recommending them.  Just providing info.

Re: Credit Karma?

Well Credit karma is a real joke when it comes to scores. but that new credit report is awesome.

they show me at a score of 731. when my real fico score is 708. don't know what the reason for such high score on credit karma. i can't trust it.

whenever a lender has sent me my score. it is always exact as what they say here at my fico.

I know credit karma is using a transrisk version or some other transunion version based on information in credit report.

they should come out and say it. this is a bs score.

but they say instead. 10 of the top banks use it. I have never seen a lender with that score.
