That's what I learned here on the boards however my financial friend said it hurts 'a little' when it has pulled 'a lot'.
Truth or folklore?
Can lenders see the soft pulls?

All,
I've googled and searched on myfico about the negative effects self monitoring with CCT, CK on my score. I cannot get a straight answer.
What's the answer? Am I losing points pay obsessively checking my score?
What are you talking about. Obsessively checking my score has become my favorite hobby since I began hanging out with these guys.
You may lose points in life, but not in FICO ![]()

The very definition of a so-called soft pull is that it can be seen ONLY by the named consumer, and no others.
They cannot be included in any credit report provided to anyone else, including any party who scores the credit report.
If i lost points for all the soft pulls I do I'd be down in the negatives. ![]()
