Deferred Student Loans and FICO Scores

I have had to defer my student loans for almost a year, and the interest is causing the balances to grow.  Would this have a negative effect on my FICO scores? Right now, I know they are lower than I want them to be because of my high CC utilization, but it seems like they are even lower than I would expect, especially since I have no late pays and no collections (well, one on TU that I am attempting to PFD).  My scores are TU 598, EX  628 and EQ 659 with utulization of about 82%.
