Ok, so I tried out the credit karma "fako" score and it pulled up i had a 740. Now I have never checked my tu this month, but my eq score is a 676. I dont want to spend 15 bucks to check the tu, but there is no way this is accurate. If my eq was a 676 my tu cant be anywhere near a 740 could it, is this credit karma just a bunch of crap or is it somewhat accurate?
"Accurate" is in the eyes of the beholder. As far as Credit Karma is concerned, it has generated an accurate numerical representation of your creditworthiness based on the credit report that it pulls. However, the CK scoring formula is different from the FICO scoring formulas, so you may get a CK score that differs significantly from your FICO scores.
Some people have reported great disparities between FICO and non-FICO scores. Some people have reported a relatively close correlation. But remember, even a broken clock is correct twice a day.
Lastly, you can't look at your EQ FICO score, compare it to the TU CK score, and assume that the CK score is nowhere close to your TU FICO score. This is because the FICO scoring formulas at TU and EQ are different from each other, and can yield scores that are very different. There was one point this spring when my TU and EQ were nearly 30 points apart. Also, the information contained at each bureau can be different, which could also result in a potentially large difference in scores.

I had been hoping to use creditkarma as a guide - knowing it is fako, but hoping that maybe any movement might correlate with the fico movement - have had movement on Creditkarma over the past couple of weeks, but still receiving my fico score alerts saying no changes....so much for that theory...
That won't work. On occasion FICO and FAKO scores will change in opposite directions.

My EQ and TU FICO's are 47 points apart.
