Difference in FICO scores

Why is my FICO score one thing on this site and significantly higher at CreditCheck Total?  Which is real or does it fall somewhere in between? Thanks all for any answers you may have.

Only scores from this site are actual FICO scores.  We refer to scores from CreditCheck and the likes as "FAKOs".

mrscharlie is correct.  Please read at least the first post of the Credit Scoring 101 thread linked in my siggy, as it explains the differences between some of the various scores out there, including which ones you should care about and which ones you shouldn't.

No way are you dumb.  There is much confusion about credit scores and we see adds on tv and the internet for credit scores but none of them say FICO credit scores which is what most of the lenders use.  If you go to say a car dealer they will say something like "How are you credit scores" even here we say credit scores when most of the time we mean FICO scores.
