Most people that post their scores seem to have different FICO 8 scores for each of the different bureaus. When there is differences in the data (i.e. more inquiries at one bureau), I would expect that. But I've seen a few posts that seem to be saying that they have different scores even when the reports at the three bureaus are identical.
I thought TU, EQ, & EX licence the FICO 8 code from FICO, so as long as the inputs are the same, then the score should be the same. Do the different bureaus tweak the code, so a FICO 08 score from EX is not exactly the same thing as a FICO 08 score from TU?

Yes. Exactly that.
Scores between the bureaus for reports with identical info can, and typically do, vary anywhere between 5-15 points - totally normal.
Yep. It seems evident to me by the many post regarding the varying effects on their score across the 3B's with the same action when all report data is identical. Included in that, certain bureaus are bullet proof for some, whereas that bureau may seem most volatile to another's profile. it seems the bureau's can then add additional weights to the FICO algorithm pieces of the pie. ?.?
But it's up to us to figure it out: FICO +100, Bureau's +5000, Me, just trying to pay my bills and have good credit.
If all 3 CRA's had the same identical protocols to give a score if the info matched. Then why have 3 CRA's? They all have different tweaks to give the score they produce. Imagine if Equisux was the only CRA? God help us.
