Applied and was approved for Discover It.. 5,000 limit!! I'm just curious as to why a 10 point reduction!! They pulled my Experian which was at 669 after app now 659?? Why so many points??? My previous apps in the past with others have only costed me 1, 2 or 3 or 4 points.. Not 10!? Anyone know why ??
It all depends on how many inquiries you have. The more you have the more your score will be affected.
Wow..thank you..i just counted..I have 4 inquiries with Experian.
Congratulations on you approval. Inquire hits suck. My last one cost 23 points. Helped me make the decision to garden for a bit though which is slowly bringing my score back.

Not including the most recent hard pull, how many Experian inquiries are within 365 days?

With Experian's near real-time FICO 8 updates, I saw -3pts for my AMEX inquiry and -8pts for the Discover inquiry about 9 hours later. Total -11pts.
I was going from 0 inquiries at EX to 1 and then 2.
Only 3 since last year.

Do you think it is possible that you crossed an average age of all accounts (AAoA) threshold?

Unless you have as many as I do, then there is no more score ding.
None for Inqs, and none for AoYA.
3 new accounts in 4 weeks all reporting and My TU FICO8 goes up 7 points.
(I only posted (2) of the approvals on myFICO.)
ETA: EX & EQ FICO8 stayed the same, did not budge.
