Dispute resolved and Mid-cycle reporting by Citi cards

Hi,

So something happened that I don't remember happening before.  I have two Citi cards, which appears to have "mid-cycle" reported on my balances however it hasn't even been 10 days since my statements were closed with low util.  I PIF each month and run them back up so the mid cycle reporting just cost me reduction in 9 points for TU and 6 points for EQ-- no change for EXP oddly but maybe its yet to come.  One difference this month compared to all the others is I had one open dispute on each TU and EQ. But still..

Is it correct that Citi is reporting the increases in balances or is EQ/TU pulling??

Any help for Credit newbie is most appreciated!

Did you dispute the Citi acct that reported mid cycle?

You can't dispute the fact that a card has reported when you didn't expect it to. Banks can report when they want.

Citi has been known to report mid-cycle when something unusual is going on. I believe that BBS saw them report mid-cycle when they were trying to rectify an account issue. It's possible that if the dispute involved Citi, it could have caused them to report.
