Disputes

Ok, I've disputed almost all the same CC's with wrong info after a 3 year bankruptcy. On 4 accounts for transunion and experian, they stayed the same saying the charge offs were prior to the bankruptcy. On Equifax just recieved today it says charge offs are included in bankruptcies and verizon which I disputed with verizion during opened account, was deleted completely.

Should I use this Equifax credit document and send it to the other 2 Credit agencies to re-dispute those accounts. Or take what I get. Prior to my disputes my score was 650 and climbing each month with transunion. After my dispute with them I lost 40 points. There may have been other factor such as opening a new CC account for lower interest rate and transfer of that card which maxed out this new account. Which BTW I immediately payed accordingly to each CC accounts (4) to keep all ballances at 35% of availible credit. But I affraid of making my fico scores worst by acting out. I want to refi my 1st morgage in July. After speaking to Wachovia rep. I could  refty at a great rate and closing cost would  be less than a broker. Brokers wanted over 10,000 on average back in Jan. for a 190000 refi. Wachovia says a few thousand. What to do? If my Credit score goes down more, I have no chance I think. It should be going up. I now have only 2 derogoritory accounts and no lates with bankruptcy of 3 years. Loan to value is great. Very little credit balances, 2600 on 15000 availible.

Should I send the Equifax report to dispute the others or be happy?

Re: Disputes

bert57,

Docs from another CRA generally will be likely be ignored. Try calling TU and EX. Tell 'em these accounts were IIB, were not CO before you filed, and you'd like another dispute opened.

TU is the most intractable, obstinate and difficult of the Big Three. EX earns a close second. IMHO.
