Disputing Errors and Effect on Credit Report

Does disputing information on a credit report affect our credit rating in any way? Do lenders become alarmed if they see something is disputed?

It can have a impact on your score, yes.  I disputed information on several old CO's a couple weeks ago and my score dropped six points.  Hard to say if it will have a big impact on how lenders view you overall though...
