Disputing Late Payments & Deleted Collections Added Back On PLEASE HELP!!!!

I have 2 issues.  The first one being I pulled my TU report the other day and it stated I have had 1 late payment in the last month. I have paid everything on time since March and have not been late on anything.  How do I find out what was reported late since the report doesn't state what it is and have not received any late notices from anyone? The second issue is that I have paid 2 collection accounts for pay for delete which was agreed on.  My TU report in May showed they were taken off and the report I pulled on 8/24/07 showed them back on. I don't understand this. It has caused by score to drop 60 points.  I have a very low score at this time. I have been working very hard to correct things and improve my score.  It first raised by 60 points to 548 and now dropped to 488. I am so discouraged because all the work I have done seems not to be doing any good.  Someone please help!!!

How are you pulling the TU report?
Even if you are looking at it in TC - you should be able to figure it out.

Chances are the did a manual delete and their automated reporting re-inserted it.

Dispute as "Agreed to deleted by Credit Grantor"

Or go to http://www.transunion.com/investigate and pull a free report.

see http://ficoforums.myfico.com/fico/board/message?board.id=generalcredit&message.id=8815
for the re-insert letter.

Under the FCRA Section 611(a)(5)((ii) ". . . . reinserted in the file, the consumer reporting agency shall notify the consumer of the reinsertion in writing not later than
5 business days after the reinsertion or, if authorized by the consumer for that purpose, by any other means available to the agency.
(iii) Additional information. As part of, or in addition to, the notice under clause (ii), a consumer reporting agency shall provide to a consumer in writing not later than 5 business days after the date of the reinsertion
(I) a statement that the disputed information has been reinserted;
(II) the business name and address of any furnisher of information contacted and the telephone number of such furnisher, if reasonably available, or of any furnisher of information that contacted the consumer reporting agency, in connection with the reinsertion of such information; . . . ."

I have pulled my TU report through My Fico.  Thanks for the advice.  How do I find out who reported the late payment.

Should be pretty easy to find...
Go though it line by line.

Look for recent reports on any negative accounts
