Do banks use auto and mortgage score versions?

I usually just follow what I consider my regular FICO scores (08 versions). Once in awhile I'll look at the big picture to see what other scores are. Do lenders usually use the specific scores for auto loans and mortgages or is it mixed?

I think it really depends on the lender and the product.  If you have a specific lender/product in mind, you can probably search the forum to determine the FICO scoring model they use for applications on that product.  If you aren't able to find it, a best practice would be to contact the lender prior to applying to inquire as to which score they use so that you're best informed.
