EQ FICO increased 50+ points!

Unbelievable! A paid collection finally dropped off in August (what a long 7 yrs!) and my EQ FICO jumped to 789! Only negatives left on my report are three 30 day lates (all on the same CC account, now closed) which are scheduled to fall off early 2011.

I am so grateful to the members of this forum who provided such excellent advice and support. Looks like I'll reach my goal (and possibly exceed it) sooner than expected.

I don't post very often, but I read the forums almost daily and will continue to do so.

At one point I had one baddie - a 7 yo collection. Average score increase when it went away was over 50 points
