I signed up for it even though it's really just a slap in the face to consumers for only offering 1 year. Haven't gotten the e-mail yet. Still waiting on seeing how any potential class actions pan out.
I was suppose to signup on the 12th. For some reason, everytimes I try, it kicks me out and says server is not responding. I have tried severals days and haven't been able to sign up. It seems it is a subsidiary of Equifax so I wonder if it is just a waste of time to sign up.

Been waiting days no email yet I did try to call busy line.
I have been wanting to sign up for this service. But I always stop and think....Why should I trust them trying to help protect me when they couldn't keep pur data safe in the first place? I'm still on the fence about this.
I passed.
Funny. I still must getting the monitoring protection over the Home Depot breach because every month they update on if anything out of the ordinary was found or not. I'll stick with that and hope for some compensation when the courts start rolling in force on EQ.
Their new motto - The only people we don't share your personel info with with is you.
LOL! Sad but true!

I passed too.
I initially signed up, and then got the email to complete it, but haven't clicked on the link. I probably never will. I really don't want them to think I want anything to do with them at this point. I'm just upset with the way they have appeared to handle this, especially with the selling stock thing a few days after they found out about the breach.
I have FICO Premier 3B that gives me monitoring, alerts, and a monthly 3B report, and I can't imagine that TrustedID will provide more. I also have the free Experian CreditWorks Basic that gives me my real EX report once a month, CreditWise from Cap1, of course, that by far provides the fastest alerts for TU inquiries, and then the Discover deep dark web SSN monitoring.
Forgive me, but EQ can go, uh, er, well, I'll leave it open so you can fill in the blank according to how you feel about it. ![]()
To lock/unlock EQ report, this product says this process can take up to 48h.... Well, the other prodcuts lock/unlock immediately and this very long time is not reasonable. It might be the drawback of this free EQ product or it might be temporary. Does anyone have experiences on the locking/unlocking time using this product?
