Equifax Screwing Me Over?

So I have the feeling im getting screwed by Equifax. I have an account with a zero balance that had a credit limit increase from $300 to $1000. I used $500 of that a week ago and I just got a score watch notification from MyFico that my Equifax score dropped 36 points because I utilized 100% of my car limit! Funny thing is also just got a notification for Transunion and Experian that both say I have a $500 balance with only 50% utilization. Whats even funnier than that is they both gave me a 5 point score increase from my previous scores putting me in the 720 range for both EXCEPT Equifax. Anyone know why? It's pissing me off because my score went from a 696 to 665 because it reports that ive used 100% of my USAA card which is totally false.

Just an FYI about 2 hours ago I called to dispute that the info is incorrect on my report and they told me that MyFico is a 3rd Party company and doesnt reflect accurate information. They said my report shows I have a $1000 limit in their system but my score is different in their system and I could buy it form them for 17.99 blah blah blah.....

I don't understand why on earth is MyFico saying Im using 100% of my limit I have 5 cards all zero ballance except the USAA card.

Re: Equifax Screwing Me Over?

MyFico reports only what the CRAs report to them. It appears that what has happened is that EQ reported the balance before reporting the credit line increase. That will self-correct.

+1

That is what i was trying to tell you earlier...i think the credit limit increase didn't hit quick enough to your report on Equifax like the other two CRAs..
