I noticed on MyFico that my equitable score was lower then the other two. I checked the factors and it says that it has been 1 month since my last missed payment.
how do I find out what it is talking about. I've went though my credit report and can't find any recent late payments, I know I haven't had any in a while but it's hard to dispute if I can't even find what it is that it's referring to. TransUnion and experian both show 2 and a half years since my last late payment...
any clues how I can find out what payment it thinks has been missed.
I don't think so. I'm not even sure what that is. I tried out their credit monitoring service for a few months. I have never had a missed or late payment from them.
This is only equafax. It's especially odd because I can't find anything on my report.
Could this be caused if somone just didn't report anything at all for a month?
I have rent dynamics and it looks like they havnt reported since October. So I'm probably going to call and cancel that if they are not doing what I'm paying for... I doubt that has anything to do with this though.
You said you had some older late payments, 2 years or whatever. Check those accounts on EQ and see if they are reporting correctly, the dates are right and such.

Do you have COs or CAs? If they report CO every month (or just last month) or were updated via a dispute, those could be reason for the recent missed payment.
I did have 2 chargeoffs from almost 3 yeas ago. I paid them both off in the middle of last year. They both show NR since then. Experian and transUnion both say my last late payment was 2 years and some odd months ago. I can't find any acount in eqifax that shows a late payment in the past month. But the overview says that is my most recent for eqifax. It would be nice if MyFico would say what and where the late payment is. Maybe if I call up eqifax they can tell me.
Check the dates on those COs that you paid last year on EQ.
They do say updated 12/20 on eqifax, but the payment history says NR (not reported) for several months. NR should not qualify as a late payment.
Also, experian and transUnion both say they were updated in September but the acount overview for thoes accounts says that the last late payments was 2 years and some odd months ago when the chargeoff occurred.
I'm having the same issue. Did you get yours resolved?
Equifax has a field called Date of delinquency first reported. To see the actual date they are using for this, you need to click the button to file a dispute. Go into the details for any paid charge off/collection. You don't need to start a dispute but you do need to do this to see the actual date they are reporting for this field.
Open the section Last Reported info and look at the Date of Delinquency Reported here. Make sure it is correct. I'm willing to bet it will line up with the time you were reported as missing a payment.
