Equifax has my score 700 Fico has me at 588 How is this???

I cannot understand the discrepency, I have a mortgage, a couple of credit cards that I am just authorized users on, but none have been late, showing 4 collection accounts 3 are paid off, and one for 120.00 and two sallie mae student loans that have both been paid off within the last 6 months. Car loan for 18k paid off, never late, and a couple other small loans that have been paid off and never late and closed over 3 years ago.

If Fico get from Equifax then why do they show 700 and FICO shows 588. I am attempting to build a home and Central Bank used the Fico scoring system that ruined my chances. What next?

Your EQ score from equifax.com and myfico.com should be identical.

There is a 99 point range in my scores.  This is due to varying success with disputes at the 3 agencies.  I suggest pulling all 3 reports and checking the number of derogatory comments on each one.
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

That is a FAKO score.. NOT FICO. Read the Credit Scoring 101 thread.

Isn't freecreditreport.com Experian, not Equifax?
I know you can pay them for the Equifax report, but most people use the free one.

If so, that would explain the difference.
In my case also, Experian is over 100 points higher than Equifax.
Equifax is still working on fixing their admitted mistake, but will still be a few weeks before it's all done.
They couldn't care less that I'm trying to purchase a new home...

Starting Score: 05/12/2007 was 724 average on all 3
Current Score: 02-10-2017 EQ=839 EX=837 TU=832

Yes, but it does not matter.. That score is still FAKO which is isn't your true credit score that lendors see.

My Fico's differ from my Equifax only until Equifax updates MyFico.  MyFico seems to lag Equifax by a few days.

Can you clue me in to what is going on with EQ?  re:  Equifax is still working on fixing their admitted mistake, but will still be a few weeks before it's all done.  A couple of weeks ago, my EQ score dropped 70 points for no apparent reason that I could see, eliminating all of my hard work over the last 6 months.  Is there something going on over there, and will my score go back up?
