Equifax score different on MyFico than Lifelock

MyFico states my Equifax score is 802. However, I just signed up for LifeLock and it states this same servie score is 768. Can anyone provide an explanation?

LifeLock FAQ

"TransRisk Score provided by LifeLock is not the FICO score. FICO scores are derived from the Fair Isaac Corporation. The scores you receive from LifeLock are derived by TransUnion based upon information contained within the credit reports of each of the three US Credit Bureaus."

...its a FAKO score and is not used by the vast majority of US lenders ...the scores you get on myFico are true FICO 08 model scores used by most CC lenders ...if you are applying for a mortgage, your lender will pull your FICO 04 model scores which can differ significantly ...hth

Thank you all. So lenders are going to look at the 802 then, and of course apply industry standards?

Yes.  802 is an excellent score.  If job and income are 'normal' and the other 2 bureaus are similar you won't have any problem getting any kind of credit
