Hi All. I'm a young credit card churner, new to the game but I've banked about 240,000 miles/points in the last 12 months.
My next churn is planned for August, and I know Chase pulls Experian in Arizona. I know myFico only covers EQ and TU (or so I've seen), so forgive me for asking about unsure territory. On Experian.com I was able to get my report, and then I realized it was a "Plus" score. Is this what Chase will see in August? How can I see an Experian "Fico" or the authentic score Chase will use?
The Plus score is a consumer model (yes, a FAKO) and is unlikely to be what a banker sees. For the past four years, Experian FICO scores haven't been available to the public, but that's about to change. FICO and Experian are in the process of making real EX FICOs available again. So probably before you need to know, you'll be able to buy that score here.
Even then, it's not known yet whether the model of score that will be sold at MyFico.com is the same one a banker would use. Currently the EQ score available here is one bankers commonly use, but the TU score you buy here is an older model, not much used. Confusing isn't it?
