FICO 10 Scores

So I was looking at my FICO 10 scores.  On Equifax only, ALL of my FICO 10 scores are higher than FICO 8.  Does anyone else share this experience?  Now for Transunion and Experian they are much lower than my FICO 8.  I'm not sure what accounts for the huge difference between bureaus.

Mine are lower.  I think age and inquiries are more sensitive to 10- but I could be wrong.

My FICO 10 scores are all higher than my FICO 8 scores, across the board. 10T scores are 10+ points higher than FICO 10, across the board. I'm very curious what they are trying for with these new versions, I guess I need to go read up on them.

Re: FICO 10 Scores

The age old question at MyFICO. Each version is going to weigh different factors on your credit reports differently and there are so many factors that impact your scores. In addition, it's very common to have differences between the CRAs, EX may have something slightly different than TU or a creditor may only report to EQ. It's difficult to nail down.

If you haven't done so already, go to annual credit report web site and pull your free full credit reports from each bureau. Go through the reports and ensure that everything is correct. Do not dispute items that are correct or "take a chance" to dispute something that you hope is not correct. If something is blatantly wrong, follow the dispute process.

Otherwise, you are in the same boat as almost all of us. Different scores from different bureaus, differences scores between versions. It is what it is.
